Description
We are seeking an experienced and successful mechanical engineer with record of technical excellence in the fields of light sources, optical detectors, opto-mechanical systems, wafer handling and pattern recognition systems. The position requires extensive hands on experience in designing, developing, verifying, analyzing, trouble shooting, and implementing opto-mechanical setups from the prototype level to commercial product development.

Responsibilities
· opto-mechanical design of components, modules and products for Semiconductor Metrology for stress and strain (Laser scanning, Raman, Imaging Interferometry) and wafer and film thickness.
· Interface and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
· Perform and initiate design, development, improvement of opto-mechanical setups and semiconductor metrology products

Additional Skills
· familiar with optical design software (Oslo, Zemax) and CAD
· project management experience

Requirements
· M.S. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
· 5 years experience in metrology or semiconductor related work environment

Required Experience:
· At least 5 years in Optics, Fourier Optics, Low Coherence Interferometry, Raman, Thin Film Metrology, Imaging Topography
· Excellent in mathematics, modeling and computing


Additional Skills:
· Software: C++ Software programming, GUI, embedded controller, image processing
· Engineering, preferable familiar with CAD
· Familiar with optical design and analysis software, e.g. ZEMAX
